Frequently Asked Questions

Written by Bluedrop on December 11, 2008.

What makes your reviews better than others?
This site is specialized in software problems, and while writing a review I check and recheck the efficiency at which the program solves a certain problem. Other than that, it is just basic information, and some advices for those who want to install and use it, without reading the help file or spending loads of time through the program settings.
It is designed so that it is easy to read and follow towards solving your problem, rather than describing the software itself, as most reviews do.

What represents the ranking?
The ranking is the capacity of problems a software solves, and the efficiency at which it solves them. This is why you will never find a software with “Poor” rating on this website. To appear here, first it has to do the job (solve the problem) and then accordingly to how well and how fast it does it, it will receive “bluedrops”.
The rank categories are:

1/5 Fair Software that solves only one specific problem, or more problems but at very low efficiency.
2/5 Good Solves at least one problem with increased efficiency.
3/5 Very Good Solves two or more problems easy and fast.
4/5 High Solves any number of problems at medium or high efficiency (taking into consideration memory and speed).
5/5 Very High Solves any number of problems with a very high (or the highest) efficiency that the system is capable of.

How can I contact you?
You can contact me by sending an e-mail to gheorghe.pandia@gmail.com or by posting a comment at the “Ask Question?” section.
Contact information is also found on the Contact page.

I have a problem with a software, but it is not on your site. Can you help me?
Of course. Just send me an e-mail or post a comment in the “Ask Question?” section with the name of the software, the problem you are experiencing and if you can, a link to their homepage so I can download it and I will have a look in order to help you.

Can I have my software listed here?
There is only one restriction: Your software must solve correctly a common problem. Games and widgets will not be listed for example. Send me an e-mail with a short description of your software and if it qualifies, I will instruct you further.

Ask Question?

Written by Bluedrop on December 1, 2008.

Use this post to ask questions about any software you have issues with. Your problem will be soon attended to!

Enjoy!

Sometimes… it’s just best to ask first…

Why shouldn’t I ask somewhere else?
There are several networks for asking questions where people from all around the world can give you an answer. Many times people answer incorrectly or they make mistakes and following their instructions you end up with an even bigger problem than you had before. And that is after you have spent loads of time trying to sort out what would be the best answer for you.

It happens because most people of the community that views and answers your question are not specifically trained in a certain domain, and their answer is more like an opinion than a solution.

What makes this place the right one to ask?
If you want a professional answer for any problem connected to a PC then you have come to the right place. Leave a post here or send a mail to the owner and our team will analyse your problem and present you with the proper solution and multiple suggestions.

If your problem bugs you every day or it is something to complicated to resolve just by following instructions, the team will also present you with a software offer that will do the job for you.
